Apple partner manufacturer Foxconn is adding 90,000 people to its workforce to prepare for the mass production of the iPhone 5S.
The report comes from Focus Taiwan, which explains that new workers are needed for Foxconn’s Shenzhen production complex to deal with large orders from Apple for the new version of the iPhone.
While the publication refers to the next-gen smartphone as the iPhone 5S, there have been a number of rumours suggesting it will be called the iPhone 6.
The next iPhone is rumoured to come with a quad core 1.2Ghz processor, and possible have a 128GB version. (http://www.pcr-online.biz/news/read/iphone-6-release-date-rumours-news-case-features-price-design/031415)
