Breath of Fire 2 headed to Wii U Virtual Console

Breath of Fire publisher Capcom has announced that the series' classic second instalment will be relaunched on Wii U Virtual Console.The 1994 game will appear on Nintendo's retro download service "in the coming months", Capcom said in a blog post (http://www.capcom-unity.com/gregaman/blog/2013/08/01/breath-of-fire-ii-coming-to-wii-u-virtual-console).Capcom's announcement comes just a day after its divisive news that it had revived the iconic series with a new instalment (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-08-01-breath-of-fire-6-announced-for-pc-tablet-and-smartphones) exclusively for PC, tablets and smartphones.Breath of Fire 6 will be an online version of the role-player designed for touchscreen devices. It's due to launch in Japan in 2014, and may or may not be released elsewhere.
