Android console firm apologises to early donators who didn't receive hardware before retail launch
Ouya is offering store credit for its digital store to any of its Kickstarter backers unhappy with its service.
After backing the Android console’s crowdfunding campaign nearly a year ago, a number of donators only received their unit after it had launched at retail.
Some users have also allegedly reports missing controllers, while others have been unhappy with slow responses to their issues sent to customer service.
As an apology, the company is giving $13.37 in store credit to each user affected.
“It wasn't OK that some of you-our most loyal supporters-didn't get your Ouya until after it was on store shelves,” read a statement from Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman.
