An unidentified source claims a bundle featuring both the PS4 and PS Vita is being readied for the holiday season.
VG247 (http://www.vg247.com/2013/08/05/sony-to-bundle-ps4-and-ps-vita-for-around-500-rumour/) reports on the statements of a “well-placed anonymous source” of Machinima who supposedly has the inside scoop on the multi-hardware bundle. The source claims the bundle will retail for about $500, and will be made available by the end of this year.
The idea of packaging Sony’s devices together isn’t too far of a reach, considering Sony’s previous confirmation that aRemote Play feature between the devices (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/ps4-vita-remote-play-enabled-at-a-system-level/0117204) will be a mandatory requirement for all PS4 titles that don’t already utilize another peripheral – such as the Playstation Eye or Move.
That said, Sony has made no comment on the source’s claims and the entire bit remains an unconfirmed rumour at the moment.
