I just want to know if I have the correct baud rate for my psp-290 when using mapthis v0.498. It's on default 38400 at the moment. Is that the correct baud rate?

I think I read somewhere deniska saying that Baud rate doesn't matter on PSP-290's. Using 3.30 PRX's on MapThis! on my 3.40 OE-A PSP made it easier for me to get fixes :)

EDIT: Here it is:

I don't think it even has a baud rate, but the transfer rate is that of USB (like megabits to hundreds of megabits). Whether it's USB 1.1 or 2.0 I'm not sure, but as far as I know baud rate only applies to serial devices. Ranmax is right, it shouldn't matter.

It depends on LOS (Line Of Sight). If there's no obstructions, i can get fix in under 30 secs. places where there are highrise or obstructions, it may be longer about under 2 mins.

Cheers
