Sonic Lost World release date confirmed

Nintendo has confirmed a Sonic Lost World (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/nintendo-wii-u/platformer/13162/sonic-lost-world/) release date of October 18 in Europe and October 22 in the US.
The Wii U and 3DS announcement was made by global president Satoru Iwata during today's Nintendo Direct broadcast (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/422829/nintendo-direct-event-taking-place-this-wednesday/).

The Wii U edition will have exclusive Colour Powers controlled with the GamePad by tilting, touching and aiming. It will also be playable using only the GamePad screen and will include a two player support mode. Lost World is the first title in a three-game Sonic deal (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/406909/sonic-lost-world-leads-3-game-nintendo-partnership/) announced in May by Nintendo and Sega.
