Capybara reveals that its next indie production will eventually come to other platforms
One of the key indie titles revealed at Microsoft Xbox One E3 show is not in fact exclusive to the console.
Developer Capybara, which is also the creator of Sword & Sworcery and Clash of Heroes, has revealed that the game is only a timed exclusive on Xbox One and will be released on other platforms at a later date.
“Because of the way the game was announced and discussed in the press, there was naturally a little bit of confusion after the dust settled,” the studio said on its blog (http://www.capybaragames.com/2013/08/pause/). “And that confusion stuck around. So, to clear things up, we wanted to take a quick second and answer your number one question.
“Like many games on stage at E3, Below will be available on the Xbox One first. Then, after a period of time, CAPY can bring it elsewhere. It’s always been this way.”
The developer went out of its way to praise Microsoft, however.
