<BLOCKQUOTE>We have been contacted by the BAZIX Company on our forums and have been informed of a new project they are about to launch. Here is a small tidbit from their press release.

GRONINGEN, May 22nd, 2005 - The Dutch company Bazix is currently developing "MSXPLAYer", an advanced emulator with which popular games from the 1980s and 1990s can be enjoyed once again on Symbian Series 60 mobile phones. MSX games are very small, making it possible to install hundreds of games on a standard mobile phone with a capacity of 32MB. MSXPLAYer furthermore distinguishes itself from ordinary JAVA games thanks to its excellent gameplay, speed and the originality of the MSX games. Where the currently available JAVA games usually are cheaply produced remakes, MSXPLAYer brings a wide range of professionally developed, high quality games to the mobile phones.

This will be very nice for people with the Series 60 phones and N-Gage owners. Here is some links of interest for this news item.
