Winx Club: Join the Club follows the fabulous fairies as they try to thwart the plans of the fearsome Lord Darkar. This should be cool for all of us who have girlfriends, daughters, etc.

I doubt it will be anything above mediocre but the PSP doesn't have that many kid-friendly games like this.

Aww come on, what's homo about playing as a bunch of fairies trying to join some fairy club?

Oh wait, that is rather fruity.

Anyway, the PSP target audience initially was 20 somethings and not teens. The audience has gradually grown to include teens. So if the trend continues, more and more kids may prefer PSP over the DS Lite. Or, they may purchase both as you really can't compare the DS vs. PSP as if they were the same thing. They are very different.

the cartoon is horrible and i bet the game is too.

You are right. I just saw that IGN gave this a 3.0 BAD review. This turns what little hope I had for the game into anger that something this terrible gets approved, financed, and gets time wasted on it.

And its not even average, let alone good.

I know teenage girls would not want this game. I was thinking more on the lines of 4-6 year olds. I have a niece who is 4 and was hoping to actually show her a cool kid-friendly game for girls on the PSP. Sadly, this won't be it.
