We thought the 'Sports pack' range of Wii Remote extensions, which includes tennis racquet, golf club, and a steering wheel cases were about as crappy as it could get for Wii peripherals but we were wrong.

Chinese-based peripheral company, Firstsing, who was also responsible for the sports pack, has now released a USB-powered cooling fan which plugs into one of the Wii's USB ports and draws air from the vent at the back - where Nintendo has already positioned the built-in fan.

It is said to provide extra cooling for what we reckon is the one console that doesn't need any help in keeping itself cool, unless you live on the surface of the sun. What a pointless waste of money.
