Battlefield 4 (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/pc/fps/12806/battlefield-4/) stats can be transferred from current to next-gen consoles, DICE has confirmed.
The news comes via announcements on official Microsoft (http://news.xbox.com/2013/08/games-battlefield-4-stats) and Sony (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/08/14/battlefield-4-bring-your-ps3-stats-to-ps4/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+PSBlog+%28PlayStation.Blog%29 )websites. Those who purchase and play the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 versions of Battlefield 4 will be able to transfer their statistics to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions when they release in November.

According to the post on the Xbox site (http://news.xbox.com/2013/08/games-battlefield-4-stats), all earned stats, ranks and gear will carry over upon upgrade to the Xbox One version. The transfer can only be carried out once.
Season Passes purchased for the Xbox 360 version will also "seamlessly transfer" over to the Xbox One.
The transfer confirmation comes only weeks after DICE said it was "investigating (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/421211/battlefield-4-dice-investigating-current-to-next-gen-stat-transferal/)" the possibility of enabling current- to next-gen player stat transferals for Battlefield 4.
DICE unveiled its new Battlelog service (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/420923/battlefield-4-battlelog-revealed-with-trailer/) last month, which will allow users to track statistics, configure loadouts and search servers via mobile, tablet or desktop PC.
