what FW are you on?
lol why use eloader? downgrade and then upgrade to 3.40 OE-A
first tell us what firmware you have so one of us can link you to a downgrader as Gold line said.

"this game could not be started. (80020321)"
any ideas as to what I may've done wrong?

Running Custom firmware yet? If so, put your homebrew in a folder titled ms0:/PSP/Game150. You'll have to move them from the game folder.

did that, and the menu said that there were no games on the stick!
psp/game/empty
psp/game150/put your games here

Put them in the normal game folder and change the kernel to 1.5 by completely turning off your psp and hold r while it turns on, THen go to configuration/gamefolde homebrew and press it to change the kernel to 1.5
