http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/08/nokia-windows-rt-tablet-rumor_620x340.jpgNokia's rumored Windows RT tablet (http://www.engadget.com/2012/12/24/nokia-windows-rt-tablet-rumored-to-pack-a-battery-toting-cover/) is supposedly nearing launch, and The Vergeclaims (http://www.theverge.com/2013/8/26/4659436/nokia-sirius-windows-rt-tablet-specifications) to have more details of the slate beyond those tidbits that surfaced (http://www.digi-wo.com/thread-7455-1-1.html) at Digi-Wolast month. Nicknamed Sirius, the finished design is believed to resemble a Lumia phone (http://www.engadget.com/2013/07/24/nokia-lumia-1020-review/) and weigh significantly less than the current iPad (http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/30/apple-ipad-review/). Despite packing a Snapdragon 800 (http://www.engadget.com/2013/06/18/qualcomm-snapdragon-800-mdp-benchmarks/), an outdoor-ready 1080p screen and LTE, the tablet would last a healthy 10 hours on battery. It would also include both 6-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, and Nokia may complement the previously mentioned 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot. Pricing would be competitive with the iPad, according to tipsters. While there's no way to verify the new rumors, the Sirius may launch at a September 26th event; if it's real, we'll find out soon enough.
