We've seen the company gift employees with phones (http://www.engadget.com/2010/07/21/microsoft-to-employees-everybody-gets-a-windows-phone-7/) and tablets (http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/14/microsoft-employees-windows-8-surface-phone/) and, if the picture above proves legit, a lucky bunch will receive a free Xbox One (http://www.engadget.com/tag/xboxone) on launch day -- in an exclusive white and silver-grey hue, no less. In addition to a console etched with "I made this" and "launch team something," they'll get one year of Xbox Live and all first-party games (http://www.engadget.com/2013/08/22/xbox-at-gamescom/) (if we're understanding "1P" correctly) gratis. According to the picture, which surfaced on NeoGAF's forums (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=661601) and Reddit (http://www.reddit.com/r/xboxone/comments/1l3pf1/friend_works_on_the_xbox_team_those_lucky_bastards/), this special edition Xbone will be given to full-timers (as of July 12th this year) in MS's Interactive Entertainment Business who are still employed at launch. This is just a rumor, of course, but if some Photoshop trickster cooked this up, we'd think they'd go as far as making the Kinect (http://www.engadget.com/2013/08/20/kinect-a-deeper-look/)white, if only for consistency. Or, maybe that's what we're supposed to think.
