Infantile Paralysiser has updated their multimedia application DSMPlay to version 0.5, heres the latest english news from the release:


Version 0.41 2007/05/19:

* The fatal bug regarding audio acquisition in dsmenc.exe of Ver0.4 attachment (the bug which cannot be encoded completely) it was.
* Key mapping is provision allotment. It does not correspond to sum nail seeking mode yet.

Im trying this to compare it to DPG Video's.

Currently it seems to have a much bigger output size... I'll update on the quality soon.

Edit: Alright...

I converted the same video in both DPG and DSM Video Formats, here are the size results:

DPG: 5mb
DNS: 63mb

Huge Size Difference... As for Quality, it seems to be better than DPG, not worth the size difference though...

And, I used dpgtools13 and high quality DPG Format, I just used standard DSM...

man. this thing better be in steroscope 3D and dolby 5.1 if it makes files that large. ;D
