The Lemmings DS Team have released a new version of their game for the DS, heres the release info:

Alrighty! Here's a DLDI alpha version for y'all!

Unrar that into the root of your card, and update the config file if you don't like the 'LemmingsDS' directory.

It works on my Supercard SD, and that's currently all I know.

Give the levels that are there a shot... the level system works a bit differently now:

There are two level categories, Standard and Custom. When the game starts, it'll take a minute (it won't take this long in a non-debug version ^_^) to cycle through the directories in /LemmingsDS/levels/1player/standard and custom and tries to identify all the levels it can find. It groups them together based on the directories they're in... (you'll know what I'm talking about if you give it a go.)

The level format for this version is different to the old one, so old levels won't work. (If you try and copy them into the directories, they should be ignored by Lemmings DS.) I'll get to making a convertor when I've figured out what needs to be in the new format.

If anything weird happens, post about it and include the debugout.txt which magically appears in the root.

Edit - As with all homebrew, back up before you run this! I don't take responsibility if this makes your flash cards go funny. (It hasn't done anything weird to my SCSD stuff in these last months, but I can't guarantee behaviour on other devices, 'cause SCSD is all I got.)

Won't run on my Simply.Even with dldi.It just shows two white screens.

I've got this working on my Supercard Lite and it's great and has 30+ levels.

For those who can't get it working, make sure you wait for the white screens to change as it takes about 7-8 seconds to load.

Hopefully a level editor will be released to go with this release.

I just got it to work on my Supercard DS One.

BTW - It takes like 14 seconds to load and for the two white screens to disappear.

Strange it tryed more then once (like 5 times then it worked.. before it "froze on the white screen) need the log?

Very weird, I've got the scsd and I guess it should work with it. and it comes to the menu, but I can only press the music- and tapper-button. "One player" and the other won't work. nothing happens.

actually, the reason it doesn't start is because it says "0 standard one player levels" and 0 on the others as well. But I uploaded everything, and the level-files seem to be in there. I really don't get it, I copied the whole directory straight over.
The debug reports errors but I'm not sure what to do with them:

Before I tried running lemmings I just updated to the latest sd 1.81v. Maybe it's got something to do with it?

Well 4 of hte custom maps in this version of Lemmings work great! But the most recent version with all the maps won't load for me. I don't get it.

Why would you want to use this rather than v7.04?

Yeah i mean version 7.04 cannot find the lemmingsDS file structure. This old version works fine. I give up. Maybe i'll just go buy worms 2, it's a better game anyway.
