Future monetisation will happen through new products due to launch within the next year.
GameAnalytics has stopped charging developers fees for using its tools. The decision was made to help smaller studios – and larger ones – compete with EA, Rovio and so on, who can afford large data-tracking teams.
The Denmark-based company supports iOS, Android, Unity, Flash and Corona, and wants to provide a free platform that allows developers to 'operate games as live services' by analysing daily player feedback.
There's no catch, according to the business, who explains that all paying customers can use their plans for free. Revenues will now be generated through a series of forthcoming products that are set to launch within six to 12 months.
GameAnalytics has been publicly available since the start of 2013 and is now used in almost 1,000 games.
