press release:

Koch Media UK and Black Bean are pleased to announce the presence of SBK-07: Superbike World Championship at the BikefestUK show, to be held at Donington park the 26th of May 2007 (http://www.bikefestuk.com/)

SBK-07: Superbike World Championship promises to deliver the closest experience to the biking world championship.

All the race teams and big name riders feature in the game and with 22 bikes on screen, this is your chance to go head to head with your biking heroes to win one of the most exciting bike racing championships ever.

BikeFest UK will be a phenomenal mix of track action and full-on British Superbike testing sessions from Rizla Suzuki. There’ll also be the chance to ride a host of manufacturers’ new bikes on the track and on the road. It’s not all road-bike action either. You can ride a new Aprilia or Suzuki on the off-road course,
have a go at mini-moto, ride a trials bike, watch the Vertical Brits’ amazing stunt display, see riders defy gravity in the ‘Globe of Death’, and get your bike dyno’d – for free. There’s even a massive retail zone full of all the latest kit and tuning parts, so you can grab a bargain on the day.

“The ‘have a go’ theme of BikefestUK represents the perfect location to give people a chance feel the sensations of riding a real Superbike in our video game” commented Jon Bailey, Head of Marketing at Koch Media.

SBK-07 will be available to be played by everyone at the Pit Garage Stand, plus there will be two models going around the show to demonstrate the PSP version of the game, and Koch Media will give away prize to the best virtual riders!!!

Last but not least, SBK-07 will sponsor the Pit-Stop Café, where people can eat drink and try to beat the track records of their favourite heroes playing with the PS2 version of the game.

SBK World Championship released in the UK on PS 2 on the 18th of May, and will release on 8th of June 2007 on PSP both formats have an srp of £29.99.
