Kojote posted this on PD Roms (http://www.pdroms.de/index.php) [br][br] Everyone who wants to have a look at Fenix for GP32, which is an easy to use programing language (DIV like) should check out Moogles small Fenix information sheet. Thanks to Moogle himself for the news.[br][br]http://home.wanadoo.nl/leslee/roelf/Gp32/fenix.htm[br][br]PS: I was very interested in this Fenix stuff myself and had a closer look at everything this night, unfortunatly most things are only avaliable in spanish and english sources are almost unuseable, but you can try and give it a go anyway. I still think it's more useful to learn something solid like C :) [br][br]Yes its for the GP32 but Chui also ported this to the Dreamcast, if we can get the tutorials adapted for Dreamcast Usage then we could have a mass of those great Fenix games appear on our beloved console.[br][br]Converting to English would be great too, anyone up for the challenge ;)

Just for your information:
There exist two unofficial English Fenix Desktop translations.
One is done by me ( get it here: http://www.gp32x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,14,323 )
and another one is done by Moogle and can be found on the flamingbird site.

hi guys, just two comments:
1) you can check a wiki based documentation at http://www.flamingbird.com/public_html/ewiki/index.php
2) if you know Firebird (the best fenix ide IMHO) you'll glad to know that Firebird2 has been under development for a while, AND IT'S 100% IN ENGLISH.
no, we (the FB2 Team) haven't gone mad, it's just that there are more spanish spoken guys that know english than english spokers that can read spanish... ;)
we'll be releasing the first beta soon :D
Edit: btw, what do you want to convert to english?

This rocks! I'll have to keep my eyes open for more information, as I've looked over the fenix docs and it appears to be a very simple scripting language to pick up. I've got a ton of game design docs and ideas and have always wanted to write a game for the Dreamcast. But I've gotten very rusty with regards to C and don't have a whole lot of time to study the DC hardware to write anything meaningful. This would allow me to write my simple, old-school style arcade games in no time, AND play them on the DC.
Thanks to wraggster for the info!
