If you've yet to play any of the Call of Duty games, Microsoft and Activision are holding an Xbox Live sale offering discounts on every main title in the series. Activision has confirmed a Call of Duty: Ghosts release date (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/404079/call-of-duty-ghosts-cross-gen-release-and-new-engine-confirmed/) of November 5 on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC. The game will also be a launch title for Xbox One and PS4 in November.
The publisher has also said that players will be able to upgrade Call Of Duty: Ghosts (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/425768/upgrade-call-of-duty-ghosts-from-current-to-next-gen-for-pound10euro1010/) from current to next-gen for £10/€10/$10, with all season pass content and in-game progress carried over to the newer consoles.
During a Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer reveal (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/424424/call-of-duty-ghosts-multiplayer-all-the-details-and-videos/) event in August, developer Infinity Ward announced new gameplay modes, a fresh Squad mechanic, destructible environments, new weapons and more.
