Decided to downgrade a mates PSP after giving in to his mindless jibber jabber. Im presented with a problem though . . . . been a while since i downgraded a PSP and im feeling noobtastic....

on my black PSP, ICI003 is printed on the left side inside the umd cover, my mates white psp has it printed on the right... whats that all about? should i be catious? also he is running 2.81, so can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance, many cheers

On the right, it should be TA-082, other than that it's a normal motherboard.

when looked at from this view the ICI003 is upside down. Can I downgrade it?

You need to use the Ta-082 downgrader so upgrade it to 3.00 and Use the 3.00 Gta downgrader just follow the instructions in the read me its pretty easy.

Get the downgrader here (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1034)

the 3.03 downgrader automaticly tells you if you need to patch it before the downgrade, so it wont matter. if u need to patch it then it should tell u to press X to do so. then u are set to downgrade
