News/release from Becus25 (http://becus25.foroportal.es/viewtopic.php?t=5&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=)

Copy the PSP folder in the root of your memory stick and run it.

1 - What is it ?
It is a second recovery for firmware OE of Dark_AleX. With this you can recover the PSP and use the autoboot function.

2- Functions

Press R to load a new menu. Then press X to load Recovery of OE or O to load recovery of IE (Increasing Edition , my custom firmware :P ) .
For load a eboot.pbp with the function "autoboot" put the eboot on \psp\game150\boot\eboot.pbp. Later start the PSP and press R. Then press L.

This software write to the flash0.
USE THIS ON YOUR OWN RISK.

ENJOY!

You can recover the psp and use the autoboot function with OE's recovery can't you?

This sounds like it is a crappy recovery with much less than the original oe recovery.

I pity you, for being so misguided.

Anyhow, his custom firmware is crap, why would we want his recovery mode when 3.40 OE-A can already do autoboot?

im not saying they are "crap" but its just the abilty to customize firmwares has ruined the scene, i mean youre right, the firmwares are great, its just tards keep making aps that do what the firmwares already do (last time i checked, the OE's recovery mode worked fine, and allowed easy flash0 access) idk why we need all these other apps doing it (hence why im saying their taking down the scene, not that they are, but the shockwave of crappy aps they caused) Also what is the importance of customizing the firmware anyways? it isnt like it adds any real useful functions, it seems that firmware dress up is more important than gaming

sry if its a bit unclear, im in angry rant mode

Nice! I like how he has merged the 1.62 recovery with OE.

Exactly, if developers were to release a piece of hardware as optimal, it would take longer for the product to be released so by the use of firmware updates, the product can be released earlier, and can be "fixed" and improved as time progresses, therefore, ensuring the product won't be delayed. So just have patience, the PS3 is getting to the point where it will far more superior with its continuous stream of updates.

Okay, I'm not one to 'bash' any kind of development. But I must point out, while misguided and assholes... Someone asked a question... What does this recovery do that OE recovery does not? I don't understand what 'recover psp and use autoboot' means... My recovery mode seems to work fine with autoboot turned on?

All anyone did was call them tards... Which they may be... But 'cmon, still answer the question if you've tried it out!

I'm not very adventurous when it comes to my flash0, so I like to know what benefits I'm going to gain before risking a brick!

this is a good idea if you actually think about it... not too long ago someone's psp was semi-bricked and every time they tried to autoboot their recovery folder from recovery, it never worked.... this just ensures that we have more opportunities at fixing our "mistakes"
btw, nice app... when i start using my psp again ill add it (put it away till schools done :D  )
