Custom Firmware for devhook

brethren has released a custom firmware for Devhook, heres what he says:


credits to dax and becus25 and author of prx info

remember to make a flash1 folder so you don't get repeated bsod

and also remember that toggle flash0 and flash1 in recovery are the REAL flash files of your current firmware not the emulated ones

Heres the readme:


1.50 poc+ for devhook by brethren

install devhook 0.46. pu 1.50 data psar in root of memory stick and run devhook installer

install file from ms_root in root of memcard and its done!

features becus 2nd recovery.Start by holding down select when start 1.50 emulation
all poc features (except rtrigger recovery)

hold down rtrigger and ltrigger in xmb to start prxinfo

for gods sake don't use flash vshmain.prx option in second recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will this let my use my iso via usb that i use from http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/369769 even though i use it on my 3.40oe-a lol but it seem to be better then having them on my memory stick.

i dont think this works with ta-082 mobos i tried it... loaded up 1.5, and kept getting the corrupt flash1 settings.

can anyone confirm or deny if this is non Ta-082 compatible

This is truly a great piece of work. I've always wanted to try out becus25's custom firmware, but I couldn't really bother to downgrade from OE to 1.50 again. Now that the second recovery menu is available for OE as well as this, I can have the benefits of becus25's CF on OE. :)

Chameleon, at PSPUpdates, they say that while the flashed custom firmware from becus25 only works with TA-079 motherbaords, this DevHooked version should work with TA-082 motherboards as well. So I don't know what is causing your problem.

Man this is so freaking crazy. I was just thinking last night it would be cool to try out becus25's custom firmware on devhook and I wake up today and here it is lmao. I will download this later and try it out

I thought harleyg said that once a TA-082 has its idstorage changed, any upgrade/downgrade will work.

What is the reason for devhook on 3.4 oe, when 3.4 oe can play umds that require 3.40?
