Does anyone know of a free video format converter that will make google videos(gvi) into D3V?

Alright, here's what you need to do. Open the .gvi (or .gvp, that's what they are for me) in Notepad/Wordpad. Copy from where it says url: to &begin. Then paste it into your internet browser, and it should download an AVI. Then the converter that came with it should work.

If not, there is an GVI to AVI converter, I'm not sure where...

Yeah, you'll need to get the actual .avi file first. Then you need to use GVI2AVI on the video. The only thing GVI2AVI does is remove a small amount of garbage data that makes the videos unplayable in Windows Media Player; it leaves the rest of the data unchanged, so the quality should remain the same. Once you can get it running in WMP, the converter app should be able to handle it fine. Note that I don't have any experience with the GnM converter app so I'm not sure if this will work.
