motorstorm is amazing, but im avoiding online till the patch, and the stats are reset...considering the AI is so good in singleplayer that isnt a problem.

I was playing Resistance online for a while, I sucked at it at the start but I got better near the end. Haven't started the story mode, Waiting till my TV comes

What TV you getting?

I am getting a Samsung :D

A 32" its the one that comes with the demo Xbox360 but a bigger version.

http://uk.shopping.com/xPO-Samsung-LE32R74BDX that one I think, but I got it quite cheap and it comes with a really good sound system.

Sound is almost everything when playing games, except the playability/graphics and the screen they're played on

Thats the exact one I have, its great. Nice choice on the sound system, the sound is a bit tinny and powerless from the inbuilt speakers.

Ive got a similar Samsung to that ordered, but you know the silver bit with the button on? It hasn't got that, its just a black button on the actual TV.

32" too. It will go lovely with my PS3 when it decides to come :)

Theya are good TV's Samsung a good choice although this one is nice (42'') Plus it comes with the girl aswell ;)

****ing hell you spoilt little ****!

i'm still trying to scrape together the cash for a wii with 1 game (ok 2 if you cont sports). my b/day is next month and all i'll get is £100 toward my season ticket for aberdeen ( i have to pay the rest), some cds and a game if i'm lucky.

nice comparison:
Wii= £315 with two games+wii play, add a further £100 of VC content in an effort to add interest...lasting me from launch to end of december[less than a month] i havent touched it since and dont want to, COD3 is unplayable due to framerate, Twilight Princess needs camera control and is too old fashioned. now its in my sisters room gathering dust so i dont have to look at it.

PS3= £500 with two games...lasting me from launch to now, and i still think its great.

Dunno if you know about that using a Wii and all.i dont remember that old news about the wii not being able to use an hdtv.
but although it is a nice tv. i dont need an hd tv because i dont need/want any hd channels or consoles.
im fine with using a normal tv.

I had a Wii for a while, I sold it on ebay with Wario Ware... I had LoZ:TP and Red Steel. Worst console ever.

And yes, HD games do require an HDTV to have the best picture quality. Good thing I use my wii with composite cables on my HDTV, no? I will get the ps3 when price drops, and some good games come out though. Anyway, what games did you get?

resistance is one of the best games ive ever played in my life.... people bad mouth ps3 because they have either not played it yet or because they cant afford it.
btw nice tv, i have a 60inch hd dlp but they take up a lil more space than the lcds and plasmas but they are great for movies and the ps3 :D

BTW the Wii is a pretty cool console, Xbox 360 is better though. Haven't played the PS3 yet but I wouldnt buy one just yet because it aint worth it unless I wanted a blu ray player.

everything I have PS3 wise is: X-men 3 (movie), Casino royale (movie in the post), Motorstorm and Resistance those are like the only good games really out. Later on this year is gonna be good!

and the composite cable for the Wii was money not well spent. No difference at all!

I am happy with my PS3 but I may get a X360 in the future as all my mates have it.

I had it when I used to have a 360, I got bored after a while.
Story drags on, there is too much to do and not enough fun and exciting stuff.
