Apple’s new iPhone 5S will launch on September 20th, but customers won’t be able to preorder the smartphone.
Following the phone’s announcement by Apple (http://www.pcr-online.biz/news/read/iphone-5s-officially-announced-out-20th-september/031868) alongside thecheaper iPhone 5C (http://www.pcr-online.biz/news/read/iphone-5c-officially-announced-by-apple/031867), Apple has slowly released further details about several new features, including the long-rumoured fingerprint scanner. However, Apple has stayed largely coy about UK pricing (http://www.pcr-online.biz/news/read/iphone-5c-and-5s-deals-uk-networks-await-info-from-apple/031874), with only mobile network O2 so far announcing tariffs and contracts details. While the lack of a preorder suggests Apple expects the 5S to sell quickly, reports have come in suggesting consumers may not rush to get their hands on one. (http://www.pcr-online.biz/news/read/iphone-users-not-excited-about-iphone-5s-survey-suggests/031879)
