The memorycard is now priced at $74.

okay, translate that in sterling, cause we always have to pay more id say its around 110 maybe abit more and thats a total rip, they can stick it up there $@^# :)

dollars to sterling is close enough to half...making £35-38. the cheapest place i know for memory is

which guess what...4GB sandisk [better than sony] for £35.90 +p&p[only about £3]

yes flash memory is dreadfully overpriced on the highstreet, but only because too many people are lazy not to find a deal that it still sells

Go with Sandisk and not SONY. I've had one of these SONY sticks (1GB) and the difference in speed/performance is very noticeable.

Sandisk all the way...

wow...i got the same memory stick for RM240 (ringgit malaysia) which is about 60 US dollar

RM 3.33 = 1 US dollar :)
