I can't use the installer on my computer so just send me the program files for it

Yes if it did work, that would solve all the compatibility problems with WINE on linux :)

you could try finding an iTunes alternative.

S34MU5, the iPod updaters doesn't allow you to run a factory recover to drop the iPod's firmware to a moddable version without installing iTunes?
