Mod Outreach Programme

I decided to make a thread where questions can be put to mods and people can talk to them because the members and mods tend to have a poor relationship at best and some more communication may help such relations eh? this will only work if any mods bother to do it (which i wouldn't be surprised if they didn't) so eh.....yeah i'll see how it goes.

pms are useless, mods never reply to mine. that's why i want this to work, so people can speak to mods directly and raise issues in which other members can contribute.

You do realize they run the site, so you do need them.

I always reply to PMs and I check the forums nearly every day. I've even upped my private message storage beyond regular staff to allow me to hold more.

I urge people to PM me for any issues they might have and I promise I'll at least reply to them. :)

yeah mods do thier job, and sometimes i disagree with them but i guess they try to make everyone happy (and some are quite cold, and some are quite LAME! "i wont point fingers")

I always read, but sometimes don't respond to PMs, usually if it's something where there is no real response to be made (happens a lot). 99% of the PMs I get that aren't from other staff members is people whining about infractions though. I always make sure to respond to those.

There is nothing wrong in general with staff/user relations, it only becomes an issue with stupid/abusive/idiot/mean members.

I don't think some do their job the only mod,adimn i have seen is guntims,mark3000001,kaizer,quazar,bluecrab, thats preaty much it, i didn't say i didn't needed the mods i just sayed mark3000001 is the only one i like.:thumbup:

You do realize that if you stay in just one section, you will only see one set of mods right? There are very few global mods (maybe 5 of us) and so all the rest only have powers in their sections (DS mod, PSP mod, etc). If you never go to those sections, you won't see them ;)

You also need to realize that a lot of staff are more then mods and do other jobs. Another reason you may not see them so much on the forums. The staff has much more variety then what you think. Its not just simply "mods and admins."

There is nothing to learn, GoldLine had the first club acn010 broke away and started his own then there was tension between the 2 then GoldLine's club was closed (during GoldLine's ban) and The Lounge emerged and took the place of GoldLine's club which acn010 disappeared for a while and when he came back there were about 8 clubs in which soon became dust (deleted) and The Lounge dominated JUNK (and made it what everyone hated)... The End

long story short

i started a fan club, then we had a (fake play around) war with EX, my club won

then my club had a war with the giant robot jesus club, my club won.

then my club had a war with acn010, then he disappeared so my club won.

then my club got locked, and soon after everybody wanted to be the new "king" of dcemu so lots of people made clubs.

then buddy made the new goldline club but a few days after he renamed it to the lounge.

anyway all of my old members joined the lounge and it took over dcemu.

then the lounge got locked, so the club wars started all over again but the admins steped in that time and they locked the JUNK forum for good.
