babblr is the the successor to Windows Live PSP Messenger. babblr is an online multitasking messenger capable of logging into AIM, MSN and AIM messengers all on your PlayStation Portable!

What it Features

Just because it is a Messenger application doesn't mean it's just a Messenger application! babblr can also multitask, while you're babbling away you can read the news, purchase stuff, browse the web, check your email and play games all at the one place!

Getting sick of the theme? Change it to one of the several slick themes including a Windows Live Messenger theme instantly on babblr!

Adding it to Your Portal

babblr may be added to any portal. It's also an ideal choice because of it's minute size. If you would like to add it your portal, please contact us!

Online or Offline?

You must be online to use most of babblr's features but you can download babblr and install it on your PlayStation Portal for even faster loading speeds!

Sounds cool and all. But this web-based messengers are very slow...

Uhm... guys? Slow can be easily fixed with later revisions. Don't lose sight of the fact that this project is HUGE.

From the description, this could rival the venerable irShell in functionality if the devs play their cards right. It's a fair sight prettier and smaller in size, too.

Can't wait to get home and try this out later. Kudos to the devs! Keep up the work!

Oh, and as I Shouted on the site, if you add Del.icio.us bookmarking support, I will hail you as gods.

I also dont really like web messengers, but on the PC
on the PSP this is great!
and a whole portal? cool!
so I can chat and do other things at the same time
(allways a problem on the psp since you can only run one hoebrew at the time)
I am testing it rigt now

Yeah,those are the advantages of the web-portals,to do other stuff while chatting,but I still prefer others like AFKIM.But there are other ways.... For example,when I run AFKIM through IRShell I can listen to music while chatting. :)

Afkim is the best IM messenger on PSP! :thumbup:

Read, young one.

Lets Begin!

1. Turn on your PSP and computer and attach your USB cable where necessary
2. Set the PSP to USB mode
3. Open up your PSP's™ MemoryStick™ DUO
4. Unzip and copy and paste the WLPM folder into X:\PSP\COMMON
5. Open up your browser and type FILE:/PSP/COMMON/WLPM/SCREEN.HTML
6. Bookmark this page and you’re done!
