here's the million dollar question. Is it significantly better then homebrew browsers? And does it cost less then the ram expansions that the homebrew browsers require?

I think it is a lot better than Homebrew browsers. It's only $30 USD at Wal*Mart, that's where I got it, anyway.

Besides, what homebrew browsers? The only one I know of is DSOrganize's browser.

It's better than any homebrew, but they still can't do Flash, which is it's biggest flaw.

It's not the software's fault, it's the hardware's limitations.

Can it run Java?

I had tried out the Euro version and must say I was less then impressed. The stunted wireless connection on the DS is just not really made for surfing, hence why you can kill the images to speed up, but where is the fun in that? It already can't do Flash or Java whcih is essentially the rest of the fun IMO.

I just can't bring myself to spend $30 bucks for something I'd have a whole lot more fun doing on a PC or true mobile device.

The best thing about it is you can use it for extra memory for the dslinux dldi build :)

It's great for playing Kingdom of Loathing at least.
