Ive never heard of this error message before.
What game? What firmware you on?
Is it like a system message or is it after it boots? (silly question but still)

Thats why you silly sausage.
To play psx games you need to be on a homebrew compatible firmware. i.e. 1.50 or open edition.
You aint doing anything with that PSP, homebrew/psx games wise for a while.

No, what open edition firmware does, is it sort of emulates 1.50 while running the open firmware.
So, you need to upgrade to 3.40 oe-a (the newest so far) from 1.50FW.

No, you dont make a firmware OE.
PSP Custom firmware's are made by Dark_alex and his team.
