So, I get a "working" PSP 2.80 from eBay for my wife and daughter. Of course, I get it and it's not working.
Upon turning it on, I get the green power light but it won't read UMD or the the memory stick and the screen stays blank. My other one is fine, running 3.40 o-e but this one is hosed.
Is this a "brick" that I've heard so much about or is there another problem here. I thought bricks would still boot but you got the multi-language error screen.
If it is indeed bricked, any way to unbrick with out the platinum chip? I was hoping that it you could at least read the memory stick, that you could use the recover option from the "blue right trigger reboot" menu, but I can't even get to that. . .
TIA!
