cuple things first before this story. my psp is 3.40OE-A. recently bricked. my psp theme is the i think puki theme, its that super small xmb. i was listen to music on my xmb, no pluggins or homebrew, just normal listening. and my psp froze while i was listening i click circle to exit back to the xmb. and the all of a sudden my psp turned black. so i turned it back on and went back to listening to music but when i went to go click it my psp froze again. after 3 or four times, you think by now i would learn that it didnt work, my psp bricked. i dont no how this happened or y. can someone explain it to me. ive bricked my psp many times before but im never worried and i knew what the problem was, but im still not worried but id like to know what caused this problem.

Can you access recovery? If so, reflash the fw. I can't tell you what's wrong, maybe a corrupted install.

It probably was just a corrupted install. Just reflash the firmware.

If reflashing doesn't work, dg to 1.5, restore defaults, then flash back to OE.

Easy to fix... Btw, best not reflashing 1.50 to get back to 3.40 OE-A... It's best just renaming the oeflasher folder to RECOVERY, and running it in recovery mode.

Anyway, to fix your problem, go into USB flash1, and delete everything in there. Then, continue with initial settup, and lo and behold, no icons.
