Hey everybody i live in oregon and i made a map of Portland but the only problem is that the map downloader application says that there is no geodata avaliable for Oregon state. Is the geodata actually not avaliable for Oregon or is there some wierd bug that i keep getting.

also if there is a way, does anyone know a way to get geodata for Portland, Oregon? Because otherwise It would be a bit pointless to have a map.

Thanks:)

Well, where are you getting your geodata from? Is it of of in7ane's site, or did you download his .zip file (~550MB). I did it for Colorado and Montana, there's no reason it shouldn't be available for Oregon

I'm getting the geodata directly from in7ane's google map downloading utility. Does the file have more states and cities in it? Or do they have the same files?

It's possible that there are some gaps due to some human error (on our or US Sensus bureau's side)
I'll try to re-run my scripts and see if I can get data for portland..

Did anyone found out about this? I go to school at Portland State and aslo gig around Portland so being able to look up adresses would be very nice. Just figures Oregon would be the one without geodata. Honestly, why not North Dakota or some place else?
