Capcom has announced that its mysterious PS4 exclusive, Deep Down, will be a free-to-play title.
The news comes from an announcement at the Tokyo Game Show, passed on by Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida via Twitter (https://twitter.com/yosp/status/381250930491928576).

No further details were disclosed.
Capcom recently released fresh images (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/429248/deep-down-five-new-screenshots/) of the game following new information from Sony's PS4 Japan press conference (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/428427/sonys-japan-press-conference-live-stream-here/), where it was announced the game actually takes place in a futuristic New York setting.
Capcom also released a new trailer (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/428519/deep-down-new-trailer-and-gameplay-footage-reveal-fresh-details/), along with news the game will support online multiplayer for up to four players.
The procedurally generated dungeon crawler is expected to release in 2014.
