mapthis help!!!!!

enery time i try to use map this with the psp-290 my psp damn crashes can some one tell me what i am doing wrong please!!!

Have you tried using the PRX from your own version firmware?

I had problems using 2.71, I now use 3.30.

Also how big is the map?

Do you have the map " Mapthis0.499" in the GAME150-folder, or in the GAME340-folder?

If you have the map in the GAME340-folder on your PSP, try putting it in the GAME150-folder on your PSP, and vice versa.

Just try to the attachment of post #6.

It's not just Map-this!0.499, it's with the Eboot for a PSP with FW3.40.

Put it in your GAME150map, with Kernel set to 1.5

If that doesn't work, it beats me :confused:

i also have a problem, this is my hardware/software specs...

3.30 OE-A'
3.30 prx files for both usbacc and usbgps
kernel is set to 1.50
mapthis folder is in the GAME330 folder

now the problem is when using the EBOOT file from 0.499 beta the map won't load no matter what i do and it'll just shut down.

when i use the EBOOT file from the 0.499 file attached in post #6 mapthis won't start period

BUT when i use the EBOOT file from 0.497 it starts up fine and gps locks on fine.

the reason i wanted the 0.499 is the speed limit warning, sounds, etc. but i can't get the map to load no matter what i do.

is there a fix for this or should i just use 0.497 until 0.5 comes out?

p.s. when i use the 0.497 EBOOT file with the system folder from 0.499 all the letters come up broken and weird. BUT when i use the same 0.497 EBOOT with the system folder from the 0.499 file in post #6 everything works fine any idea why?

i have the same thing
psp crashes after loading the map and some time it loads but crashes after a while
