I'm looking for the cable for the eject/reset button.

The places I went to so far are really expensive.

Try eBay, look for faulty consoles...

...Amother faulty console can repair another, I found that out with my first PSone! :D

Why not check at Mod-Chip (http://www.mod-chip.com/)? You can one there for $10 (about £5 or so). I'm sure that amount not really going to break the buget. There could be other places that are cheaper but this one was the first to come to mind.
