If you ever find yourself in Oslo, Norway, during your travels, you might just run into a few familiar faces. That would be the faces of sprites from Nintendo mascots and other gaming characters alike, gracing trash cans and signs all about the town. And, upon looking at TheFunkyHorror's Flickr photo set, we wonder how much walking around the guy did to take all of these pictures.

Is it just us, or do some of those pictures look photoshopped, though?

Yeah, my immediate reaction was shopped. Cool if someone did it though.

Dont think they are shopped.

Looks like he's using some kind of sticker / transfer.
You can see in a lot of them a darker area where he's cleaned the surface.

I can see why some look like they're shopped though.
Because of the flat bright colours they wash out a lot of surface detail. But if I was shopping them it would be the work of a moment to add this shading in so it's absence tells me they are real.
