Sony Computer Entertainment UK boss Fergal Gara has told CVG (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/431096/interviews/interview-sonys-fergal-gara-on-ps4s-final-push/) that all UK PS4 (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/392432/playstation-4-is-official-sonys-most-powerful-platform-ever-launching-holiday-2013/)pre-orders placed to date should be in consumers' hands in time for Christmas.
"The metric that we use is the pre-order demand curve, and we've used our past five console launches as a reference point," he said. "Everyone who has put down a pre-order so far will definitely get one before Christmas, as long as nothing goes terribly wrong."
As CVG revealed in July (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/421873/sony-to-impose-uk-wide-limit-on-ps4-pre-orders/), UK PS4 pre-orders placed before Tuesday August 6 should be fulfilled on release day (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/423067/new-ps4-pre-orders-not-guaranteed-for-launch-day/).

Earlier today, Sony confirmed plans to release Killzone Shadow Fall (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/playstation-4/fps/13052/killzone-shadow-fall/) PS4 hardware bundles in Europe (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/431099/ps4-killzone-shadow-fall-hardware-bundle-confirmed-for-uk-release/). The first, priced at €439, will include the console, the game and a DualShock 4 controller. The second will include the aforementioned contents plus an extra DualShock 4 pad and the PlayStation Camera for €499, the same as Microsoft's European Xbox One price.
