Following the game's release in Japan, where it was called Bravely Default Flying Fairy, Square Enix announced that an updated version of the title called Bravely Default: For the Sequel (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/427508/bravely-default-western-release-is-the-enhanced-version/) was in development. This enhanced version will be used for December's western release.
The updated version offers improved battle mechanics which have been influenced by those being created for a full Bravely Default sequel. Additionally, battle speed is a little quicker, and the game offers players the option to speed up attack effects as well as an Auto Battle function designed to streamline grinding.
