DICE is in the process of opening up the Battlefield 4 (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/pc/fps/12806/battlefield-4/) beta to all PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 players.
Offering an early taste of the game's Siege of Shanghai map in Conquest and Domination modes, the Battlefield 4 beta (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/429468/battlefield-4-open-beta-begins-october-1/) kicked off on October 1 for Battlefield 3 Premium members, customers who pre-ordered the Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition on Origin.com, and registered owners of Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited or Digital Deluxe editions.
Open Beta Rollout Times (October 4th):
PC: 1 AM PDT/9 AM UTC (9am BST)
Xbox 360 worldwide: 2-6 AM PDT (10am-2pm BST)
PlayStation 3 (Europe): 7-11 AM PDT (3pm - 7pm BST)
PlayStation 3 (US): 11 AM PDT (7pm- BST)

The final game will ship with seven multiplayer modes (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/426476/battlefield-4-to-launch-with-7-modes-10-maps/) playable on ten maps. EA has confirmed a Battlefield 4 release date (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/407996/battlefield-4-to-launch-on-october-29-next-gen-release-dates-undisclosed/) of October 29 in the US and November 1 in the UK on current gen consoles and PC. Xbox One (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/xbox-one/games/12528/xbox-one/) and PS4 (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/392432/playstation-4-is-official-sonys-most-powerful-platform-ever-launching-holiday-2013/) versions will be console launch titles later in November.
