View Full Version : Any idea how big is the mapfile in iPhone?

Today I try iPhone in apple store, seems it contains all US map, it also from google maps.
and the maximum zoom level maybe 2 or 3x
obviously, the map file in iphone is much smaller than the file we download.

Well the iphone does have a fully featured web browser, maybe it was just hot off of Googles servers? I dont think theres a map ON the iphone, but hey, Iv been proven wrong before...
