Sorry ULTRA newbie here,
What is a kernel
And how do i change it frm a 3.03 kernel to 1.5 Kernel and vice versa.

What firmware are you using? If an OE one, hold R while the PSP boots and click Configuration, you'll be able to change kernel type then.
