E3: Smash Bros delayed to 2008

Nintendo has been shoving Super Smash Bros. Brawl screens at you daily for the past few weeks, but if you live in UK you aren't getting a sniff of the action until next year.

In a shock revelation, the game that Miyamoto originally mooted to be a Wii launch game is now set for a frustratingly vague "2008" release in Europe.

The Americans, on the other hand, will be brawling from December 3. Life just isn't fair. Time to go mental.

I feel bad for Europeans. But as for me, I've been looking forward to this game since SSBM, so I have no complaints on my end. Still, it does seem a little unfair...

its usually due to europe needing extra languages.
other than that, they need to make it able to run on older PAL TVs (that don't support 60Hz.
so hopefully early 2008

Actually the extra languages are just an excuse usually it is not too much effort to translate a game, it even is less effort if you can do it by text, if you can cover english you can cover most latin/cyrillic based languages parallely at the same time.
The delays are purely trying to get most out of sales.

Nintendo of Europe is trying not to overcrowd the christmas season they are late with some titles anyway, so I assume super paper mario will be their christmas hype title and smash brosh is simply delayed because of that.

UK DID get Strikers first and now Mario Kart.
I think its fair to give us Brawl a couple of months sooner.
