If you are on custom firmware, you can patch the games to 1.0, or disable corrupted icons through the recovery.

how do i hide them? oh, by the way, i'm running on 3.40oe-a, so where do i go to hide those icons

recovery ( turn off psp, hold R on reboot) youll find the option through configuration
