ps1 game saves to psp and back again

so if i get a dex drive, i can extract my ps1 saves, and use them on my psp, correct? so does anyone do this? is the reverse possible, so that i can put game saves from my psp back to the memory card and play on my ps3/2/1?

they are not compatible... it wont work from ps1 to psp, but will work ps1 to ps3
