Those who have ordered the PS4 Watch Dogs bundle from GAME have been told that their console pre-orders are secure.
“As many of you have heard Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs has slipped into spring 2014, to help make the game the best it can be for you,” the company said on Twitter (https://twitter.com/GAMEdigital). “We'd like to give you an update on what this means for your Watch Dogs and PS4 bundle pre-orders with us.
“[Regarding] Watch Dogs software – your pre-order will remain secure (both online and in-store) with us until day of release next year. [Regarding] Watch Dogs PS4 console bundles – your PS4 remains secure for launch. We will be in touch with you all shortly to arrange an alternative.”
Whether that ‘alternative’ will be a solus hardware bundle or instead a console with an different choice of game remains to be seen.
