The Wii U version of Mighty Switch Force 2 will be released via the Nintendo eShop on October 17 in US and October 25 in UK and Europe, developer Wayforward has confirmed.
Mighty Switch Force 2 was originally released for the 3DS in June 2013 (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/414685/us-nintendo-eshop-update-mutant-mudds-mighty-switch-force-sonic/) and, like its predecessor, promptly confirmed for a big-screen update on Wii U (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/423901/mighty-switch-force-2-headed-to-wii-u/).

The sequel is similarly played, but with a slightly differing premise: lead protagonist Patricia Wagon takes on the role of a firefighter who must track down and put out fires and rescue the newly reformed Hooligan sisters in similarly maze-like 2D stages.
