Hi there,

Some of you probably remember these awesome machines called Amstrad CPC, Atari ST or Amiga.. At this time (1990-1995), a common activity for programmers was to accomplish impressive visual effects demonstrating how powerful their machine was.

"Recession Maxidemo" is a revival of this wonderful period. It's also a present for my own experience - I started my first programming steps writing my own scroller in Asm/Z80 - a part of my life I will never forget.

It's made of 5 different parts, powered by some awesome musics and original graphics made by Yoyo and Mat.

Hope you are going to enjoy this prod guys!

Great to see another PSP demo. Hope to see lots more. If you need a hand with content for your next one, like graphics or music then give me a shout, Ill do anything just to have another demo. I still watch the Amiga ones to this day, old ones and new ones.
Amazing art by yoyo and mat, were all the pics in the first part of the demo done by them? I think I might have seen some of them before, not sure...

Oh yeah, this looks really nice! Although I was born in 1989 and thus I've missed most of this period, this really makes me remember playing my first video games.

Yeah This sort of thing is a great way to help programmers,Graphic artists and musicians Push the PSP as far as they can and also good for the homebrew scene. This Demo release reminds me of my old Amiga days!

Ive tried searching google and cant find them, it a bit of a tricky thing to find since there are game demos everywhere. You can however download some Amiga Demo Videos direct from your psp using an RSS video feed.
You basically want to browse that site on your psp and click the RSS link somewhere and your psp should start setting it up and downloading files you have selected.

Other than that, I would just say search google for those PSP demos, or maybe even the DCEMU PSP forum

Thanks for that info! IŽll keep an eye open for them :) I have been searching demoparties for PSP releases but nothing so far (not even on Breakpoint 2007)

Cool with RSS feed of Amiga demos, but often these videos, even when released as AVI from parties often have many issues (bad framerate, blurry encoding, bad sound, etc) So I prefer watching them on my Amiga 1200 w/68060. Or even on WinUAE.

Great greets from Hai!
